Galaxy Note 2 – Liquid Pixels

Samsung Mobile UK have created a short film “liquid pixels” demonstrating the creativity of the Galaxy Note 2. Although it certainly isn’t as cool as my own Stop Motion Video #plug, it’s certainly one of the more creative things we’ve seen. The title, “Liquid Pixels”, points at Samsung’s fluid and naturally inspired design, but also, perhaps, a hint of flexible displays to come sometime next year.

Conceptualised by Daniel Kupfer, the short film was shot over 10 days from concept to creation and features over 3000 connections which were all fitted and tested individually. Phwooarr!

This isn’t the first time Samsung have used the Galaxy Note to be creative. At MWC2012 yours truly was running around Barclona simulcasting live pieces of artwork onto buildings with the help of a 20,000 lumen projector! Here’s a short video we made about it:

As cool as this water-art is, we think Samsung have missed a trick. They should have teamed up with these guys in Japan – who are the masters of water manipulation – and created something truly amazing. Prepare yourself for some jaw-dropping water magic! In any case, this is a great video – and really makes you think what cool and creative things can be achieved with technology!
